Sadborow Pond

Brief description of fishery:

This nine pegged venue is situated on the Sadborow estate in Dorset about 7 miles from Chard. There is ample off-road parking and easy access to most pegs. At one end of the pond there is an island which is a good carp holding area. Sweet corn, meat and maggots work well when fished on the pole to the island or out in open water. Care must be taken not to ship poles back into the road – you have been warned! The Sadborow league proves very popular each year but places are limited.
