Chard Reservoir is 48 acres of open water. It is popular venue for Match Anglers, Carp Anglers, Ornithologist and Walkers alike. Carp (to 33lb), Bream (to 7lb), Tench and Roach dominate this water.
Chard Angling Club in conjunction with South Somerset District Council control the waters. Night fishing is permitted and proves very popular amongst the Carp Anglers as the swims are large and accessible for bivies.

Chard Angling Club have the fishing rights to Chard Reservoir, Perry Street Pond and Sadborrow Pond.
The Club is managed by a committee of dedictaed Anglers and membership of the club is always welcome.
