Changes to membership prices Due to Covid-19, the club has decided to reduce membership prices for this year only (2021).

Chard Reservoir

Please be aware... Please be aware that the reservoir could be closed at any time due to high winds. This is in conjunction with SSDC. Also dogs are not permitted on the shoreline and for overnight stays.

Chard Reservoir is 48 acres of open water. It is popular venue for Match Anglers, Carp Anglers, Ornithologist and Walkers alike. Carp (to 33lb), Bream (to 7lb), Tench and Roach dominate this water.

Chard Angling Club in conjunction with South Somerset District Council control the waters. Night fishing is permitted and proves very popular amongst the Carp Anglers as the swims are large and accessible for bivies.  Unfortunately dogs are not permitted on the shoreline and therefore aren’t allowed to accompany anglers.
